The Bible presents a vision of women’s ministry that spans generations. Older women are to encourage and teach younger women to serve Christ in the practical details of life (Titus 2:3-5). Girls growing up in the church benefit from relationships with godly women in all stages of life.
The women of our church enjoy spending time together, and we look for ways to help each other towards a deeper relationship with God. As we grow in Christian maturity, we are better able to represent Jesus to others inside and outside the church.
Some of us are old friends, but we love to welcome women who are new to our church. We hope we will get to know you soon.
Women’s Bible Study
Women are invited to a weekly Bible study on Thursday evenings. These are scheduled in the fall, winter, and spring, and they are conducted on Zoom to make it easier for more women to get involved. Recent studies have covered Hebrews, Revelation, and the Prophets.
Summer Reading and Park Days
Over the summer months, Bible study takes a break. Instead, moms and other women are invited to spend one morning per week at the park. While the kids play, the adults can enjoy some relaxed time together.
To fuel more summer discussion and fellowship, the women like to read a book together, and they also choose a part of the Bible to read together.
Graceful Girls
Girls aged 10-15 are invited to monthly activities led by women in the church. These are great opportunities to build friendships and try something new. These activities are usually on the third Sunday of each month, after our monthly fellowship lunch.
Special Events
The Women’s Ministry Team organizes fun and encouraging events for the women of the church. These events include baby showers, cooking demonstrations, coffee nights, and outings in the local area. We also encourage women to attend our presbytery’s annual Women's Retreat, which happens on a Friday evening and Saturday in October.
